As a partner in the Transaction Services and Valuation practice, Dirk Spalthoff will drive forward the expansion of these activities in the DACH region, with a particular focus on Frankfurt.

Over the past few years, Eight Advisory has steadily expanded its Transaction Services and Valuation team in the DACH region. More than 40 experts, including 6 partners, currently work for corporate and private equity clients in the Frankfurt, Munich and Zurich offices. The team assists both sell-side and buy-side clients with due diligence, performance reviews, and valuations. Last year, Eight Advisory advised on numerous national and cross-border transactions, primarily in the mid-cap segment, including the acquisition of the trans-o-flex Group by Geodis, the acquisition of a majority stake in Cinerius Financial Partners by IK Partners as well as the acquisition of a majority stake in BridgingIT GmbH by SPIE.

Dirk Spalthoff is a certified accountant with more than 25 years’ experience in investment banking, auditing, and transaction advisory, both in the Big 4 and in the SME arena. He primarily advises strategic investors and private equity firms on M&A processes, financial due diligence, business valuations, financial modelling solutions and post-merger integration. Prior to joining Eight Advisory, Dirk was a management board member of WTS Advisory, where he headed the Deal Advisory division and played a leading role in the growth of the consultancy’s CFO and M&A services. Dirk started his career at Dresdner Bank and Dresdner Kleinwort Benson. He then spent more than ten years at Ernst & Young, first as an auditor and later as head of the valuation team in Hamburg.
