Eight Advisory has assisted Focus Entertainment in its acquisition of UK group Dovetail Games (DTG). A strategic transaction for the French video game publisher and distributor, enabling it to strengthen its catalogue and position in the simulation games sector.
Dovetail Games is a British developer and publisher of rail and fishing simulation games, also known for its successful Train Simulator Classic and Train Sim World franchises. With a loyal community of millions of players worldwide, Dovetail Games has always delivered immersive and authentic simulation experiences and has recently branched out into the board game space with the release of CATAN®: Console Edition.
Focus Entertainment, a French developer, publisher and distributor of video games, was able to call on the support of the Eight Advisory Team, consisting of Florence Khayat and Julien Roux, for this strategic acquisition.
