PK Benelux, founded in 1985 and based in Uden, is the number one supplier of vitamins, minerals, and supplements (VMS) in the Netherlands. The company is best known for its flagship brand, Lucovitaal, which has been the fastest-growing brand in the country for five years and is recognised for its high-quality, affordable products distributed primarily through drugstores and pharmacies, as well as white label and private label medical devices supplied to over 30 countries.
The acquisition aims to reinforce Avista’s position as a leading consumer healthcare investor across North America and Western Europe, leveraging its proven founder partnership model and seasoned executive network to drive further growth and international expansion for PK Benelux. This transaction also marks Avista’s seventh platform investment in the sector and its third partnership with Damier Group, strengthening collaboration and supporting PK Benelux’s mission to democratise healthy living.
