Eight Advisory appoints two new Partners in the UK and Benelux

Eight Advisory, a leading European independent consulting firm specialising in Transactions, Restructuring, and Transformation, is pleased to announce its further international expansion with the appointment of two new Partners in its UK and Benelux offices, bringing the firm’s total number of partners to 95:

1. Niall O’Dea has been appointed Transaction Services Partner in the UK,
2. Niels Lummen has been appointed Transaction Services and Energy & Infrastructure Partner in the Benelux.

Niall O’Dea has been appointed Partner in Eight Advisory’s Transactions team in London. Niall brings over 15 years’ experience in providing financial due diligence, sell-side assistance, and transaction agreement / wider deal advice to both local and multinational corporates and private equity clients. Before joining Eight Advisory, Niall worked in one of the Big 4’s Transaction Services teams in Dublin and London. He has significant experience across the Consumer sector, as well as having worked with Industrials, Healthcare and Media clients over the course of his career to date.

Niels Lummen has been appointed Transaction Services and Energy & Infrastructure Partner at Eight Advisory in Amsterdam. He brings over 13 years of experience within M&A transactions at a Big4 company. Expertise includes due diligence, refinancing, valuations and restructuring projects for clients such as corporates, private equity, stated owned funds and owner managed businesses. With his experience Niels will support Eight Advisory clients facing challenges and opportunities in, amongst others the energy transition, sustainability and the circular economy but he has also built an M&A experience in a wide variety of other sectors such as Telecom & Media, FMCG and many more.
