Curt-Oliver leads and has introduced Eight Advisory Strategy & Operations services in the DACH region, working hand in hand with the other offices across Europe. He also founded the Eight Advisory office in Cologne.
During his over 20 years in Consulting he has spezialized in Strategy designs, Commercial/Operational/Carve-out & Integration Due Diligences, Post Merger Integration, Carve-outs and Operational Restructuring/Value Creation Plans.
Curt-Oliver has supported and led as well lighthouse spin-offs, carve-outs, integrations and strategy projects for globally renown clients such as Siemens, Siemens Energy, e.on, thyssenkrupp, heidelbergcement and Deutsche Bahn. Next to these large Corporate clients he has also worked for numerous mid-cap and private equity clients. His industry focus lies in Industrial Manufacturing, Mobility and TMT.
Prior to joining Eight Advisory, Curt-Oliver worked for more than 7 years for KPMG’s Deal Advisory and for over 8 years for EY TAS. Before that he acted as CFO and CSO of a mid-cap automotive accessories business and worked for Roland Berger Strategy Consultants and Mitchell Madison Group.
Entrepreneurship
I have taken the greatest joy from working as board member of a family business and supporting the buildup of strategic and operational transaction services in now three different firms.
On the other hand, I also founded a travel agency with my wife 18 years ago, which is still prospering today. Consequently I see every new project as a new business adventure and put a bit of my heart blood into it. To arrive at pragmatic results translated from a strategy that was designed to work in real life.
