Eight Advisory supported Cooper Parry in its acquisition of UHY Hacker Young Manchester

Cooper Parry has acquired UHY Hacker Young Manchester which sees the business expand to the North West and increases its headcount to over 1,400, quadrupling the size of the business since Waterland’s investment in December 2022. 

Cooper Parry’s ambition is to be the undisputed number one adviser to mid-market businesses continuing its shift to a more specialised advisory firm. The deal underlines the strong synergies between the two companies: complementary cultures, talented and knowledgeable teams, a tech-enabled approach and an enhanced client proposition. The acquisition expands the firm’s coverage into the North West, adding tax, audit and accounting expertise and an attractive client base.
