Eight Advisory appoints two new Partners in France
Eight Advisory, an independent European consulting firm specialising in Transactions, Restructuring, and Transformation, is pleased to announce its further expansion with the appointment of two new Partners in its French offices, bringing the firm’s total number of partners to 111:
- Jean-Baptiste Blanco has been appointed Transaction Services Partner,
- Yannick Anselme has been promoted to Finance Transformation Partner.
Jean-Baptiste Blanco has been promoted to Partner in the Transaction Services team at Eight Advisory in the West of France offices (Nantes & Rennes). With extensive experience in managing distressed M&A and Transaction Services projects in the region, he has supported corporate accounts and private equity firms with financial due diligence, and assisted companies facing underperformance and crisis. He began his career in 2009 as a financial auditor for middle-market companies at one of the Big4 firms. After a brief stint at the French Auditing Court (Cour des Comptes), he returned to Big4 Financial Advisory in 2016 before joining Eight Advisory in 2017 to develop Transaction Services in Nantes. He holds a master’s degree in finance from Sorbonne University (IAE de Paris).
Yannick Anselme has been promoted to Partner in the Finance Transformation team in Lyon, where he oversees developing the Finance Transformation service. With a dual career in management consulting (7 years at one of the Big4, then at Eight Advisory in Restructuring and Transaction Services) and in corporate (2 years as FP&A manager at Danone, then 6 years as CFO of PE-backed mid-sized companies), Yannick has extensive operational expertise to help clients improve and modernise their finance function, the quality of their financial information and their processes. He graduated from the ISAE-SUPAERO Engineering School.
