Cybersecurity in M&A – Securing the deal, protecting value: Why Cyber is key from due diligence to integration
On 9th July 2026, Eight Advisory is organising a round table in Paris focused on the growing role of cybersecurity in M&A transactions, from due diligence through to post-closing integration.
Organised as part of Eight Advisory’s dedicated study on cybersecurity in transactions, the session will present its key findings in preview. It will provide practical insights into how cyber considerations shape deal success across the full transaction lifecycle. Through real transaction experience, we will explore best practices, risk management challenges, and lessons learnt from recent deals. The aim: to better understand how to anticipate vulnerabilities, protect value, and embed cyber at every stage of a transaction, at a time when the rise of artificial intelligence is redefining both threats and opportunities.
The discussion will be moderated by Frédéric Malagoli, Partner Cybersecurity at Eight Advisory, with contributions from:
- Fatima Djoubar, Group CISO, Accor
- Pierre-Alexis Saint-Michel, Chief Cyber Transformation Officer, BlackFin Capital Partners
- Erwan Blarez, Head of Group IT M&A and Integration Office, L’Oréal
