Eight Advisory supported Doctolib in its acquisition of Aaron.ai in Germany, which aims to simplify operational tasks to make healthcare more accessible

Eight Advisory supported Doctolib, a French tech company providing online booking of appointments with healthcare professionals, with financial due diligence services, as part of its acquisition of Aaron.ai, a digital assistant for medical practices.
Aaron.ai is a German start-up company for application software, which enables over 3500 medical practices, medical centres and hospitals to process incoming calls automatically in Germany. The start-up has developed an AI assistant that answers calls, instead of medical assistants, and hence avoids queueing times to improve accessibility to healthcare personnel.
Founded in France in 2013, Doctolib employs over 750 people in 12 cities in Germany. It aims at using innovative technologies to support decision-making and financial & administrative tasks in the healthcare system. A total of 80 million people in Europe benefit from Doctolib’s services.
The acquisition expands the product offering of Doctolib by an additional channel for communication. Doctolib is planning to fully integrate Aaron into its existing service offering.
The Eight Advisory financial due diligence team consisted of:
