Eight Advisory is the leader in gender parity in strategy consulting in France

Consultor Media published the results of the 2024 Gender Index for the strategy consulting industry in France. Eight Advisory tops the rankings with a score of 99/100, in an industry that has made progress in terms of gender parity over the last 3 years.
The gender parity index introduced in 2018 by formerLabour Minister Muriel Pénicaud to measure the pay gap in French companies with more than 50 employees will reach its verdict on 1 March 2024. While French companies are stagnating compared to the previous year, the strategy consulting sector, which has lagged behind in the past, is continuing the development it began three years ago, achieving a score of 90 compared to the national average of 88. With a score of 99/100, Eight Advisory comes very close to perfection and is logically at the top of the ranking.
In terms of the gender pay gap (out of 40 points), which measures the average pay of men and women in a company, Eight Advisory scored 39/40, above the average of 37/40 for all the companies assessed.
While the sector performs particularly well on the criteria of pay parity, distribution of individual pay rises between men and women and pay rises after maternity leave, firms still need to make progress on parity for top earners and the feminisation of partnerships. However, the sector’s progress underlines the awareness and implementation of concrete measures by companies, which are beginning to have the means to act in order to maintain this momentum.
