Eight Advisory has provided financial, tax due diligence and tax structuring services to CEVA Logistics S.A. (part of the CMA CGM S.A. Group) in support of its recommended cash offer for the acquisition of Wincanton plc

The acquisition would see Wincanton, a leading supply chain partner which operates from more than 170 sites across the UK and Ireland which is active across the grocery and consumer, general merchandise, public and industrial and efulfilment sectors taken into private hands. 

France-based CEVA said the acquisition would expand its offering in contract logistics in the UK and Ireland, utilising the British company’s expertise in partnering with grocers and retailers.
