Eight Advisory supported Prisma Media in its acquisition of the Côté Maison group
Eight Advisory has carried out the financial due diligence for Prisma Media as part of the acquisition of the Côté Maison group. This operation marks a significant step in Prisma Media's development in the luxury publishing sector.
After launching the French version of Harper’s BAZAAR magazine and acquiring a majority stake in Milk, Prisma Media, the number one magazine publisher in France and owned by Vivendi, confirms with this new acquisition its desire to establish a powerful and ambitious luxury editorial division.
Founded over forty years ago, the Côté Maison group, with its 20 employees and sales of around €7 million, is a major player in upmarket home decoration. It has four prestigious magazines (Maison Côté Sud, Maison Côté Ouest, Maison Côté Est and Vivre Côté Paris), an e-commerce platform dedicated to interior design, and organises a variety of events in the field of decoration. This merger with Prisma Media offers the group new prospects and development opportunities.
