The Eight Advisory UK Team provided buyside financial & tax due diligence to Graphite Capital portfolio company Wonderbly on its acquisition of Historic Newspapers
Graphite Capital portfolio company Wonderbly, the publisher of personalised children’s books, has announced its recent acquisition of Historic Newspapers. This will enable Wonderbly to expand into the realm of adult-to-adult personalised book gifting. This is the second acquisition that Wonderbly has completed since partnering with Graphite Capital in 2021.
Historic Newspapers owns the largest private collection of original British newspapers in the world, managing a physical archive of over 2 million original copies dating back over a hundred years. They sell these, as well as many different personalised books that are created from the content of the archive. By integrating Historic Newspapers’ vast collection of authentic newspapers, Wonderbly can now offer our customers a unique opportunity to explore and relive the most significant events in history during their lifetime.
