Eight Advisory advised Charterhouse Capital Partners on their partnership with Metrodora group, a leading Spanish education group

Eight Advisory team was led by Partner Gennat Mouline, in charge of Eight Advisory España, alongside Guillaume Héral, Manager, Maite Ybarra Maguregui, Senior and Ilyas El Guermat Senior.  

Charterhouse will invest in partnership with Metrodora’s founder, Jordi Roche, to support the next stage of the company’s growth and extend its strong track record of growth and expansion. Charterhouse will leverage its significant experience in the education sector, and in Spain, to support Metrodora in its mission to provide leading educational services across the Spanish and Latin American regions. 

This transaction, which is subject to regulatory approval, continues a strong period of activity in Spain for Eight Advisory. Recently, the team also advised buyers in another recent significant acquisition within the Spanish market: the purchase of the Spanish laboratory Inibsa by the French dental product groups Septodont and Acteon. In this transaction, the consultancy provided financial due diligence services to the Acteon Group and its principal shareholder, Dentressangle, in the context of the agreement with Septodont for the acquisition of 100% of Inibsa’s share capital. The financial due diligence was led by Eight Advisory Partner Gennat Mouline, Director Arnaud Bensaid, and Manager Nicolas Pulido. 

The international consultancy Eight Advisory has been extremely active in Spanish market operations since the opening of its office in Madrid in 2024. After more than a decade of operating in Spain, this move aims to strengthen ties with their transactional and financial services clients in the country. Notable operations include advising Savia in its integration with Berger-Levrault Spain, Circet España on the acquisition of business activities from Comfica, supporting Kharis Capital in acquiring a minority stake in Grupo Dani García, and assisting Marguerite in acquiring a majority stake in SotySolar.
