Eight Advisory provided financial and tax due diligence and SPA advice to GBS TEMPEST & Service as part of its acquisition of Cordsen Engineering.
Cordsen Engineering GmbH, headquartered in Seligenstadt, Germany, is a provider of TEMPEST technologies for eavesdropping-secure IT hardware solutions. The company is accredited by the German national TEMPEST authority, the Federal Office for Information Security (BSI). Cordsen is authorized to perform measurement and approval procedures in accordance with German and NATO standards.
GBS TEMPEST & Service GmbH, headquartered in Diepholz, Germany, is a leading provider of TEMPEST technologies for eavesdropping-secure IT hardware solutions. With four in-house emanations test laboratories recognized by the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI), the company is authorized for certification measurements and short-measurement procedures according to the National Zoning Model, NATO standards such as SDIP 27 and EU standards (IASG).
The acquisition of Cordsen marks a significant step for both companies, which specialize in TEMPEST technologies within Germany as well as the NATO and EU environments.
