Eight Advisory supported SOCOTEC in the acquisition of TRIGIS GeoServices

Eight Advisory provided financial and tax buy-side due diligence services to SOCOTEC as part of the transaction
SOCOTEC continues its growth course with the acquisition of TRIGIS GeoServices. With this step, SOCOTEC Germany is expanding its service portfolio to include geodata and surveying services and is strengthening its efforts to offer customers the most comprehensive range of ETIC (Engineering, Testing, Inspection, Certification) services possible.
SOCOTEC, founded in 1953, is a leading global provider of testing, inspection and certification (TIC) services in the construction and infrastructure industries. With a significant international presence, SOCOTEC is now strengthening its position in Germany through strategic acquisitions.
TRIGIS, founded in 1990, offers services in the fields of engineering surveying, 3D laser scanning, photogrammetry, remote sensing, cartography, geo-monitoring, geoinformation and mobile mapping for customers in Germany and abroad with over 300 experts at twelve locations in Germany.
TRIGIS’ services in the field of geodata and surveying services will in future form an independent pillar of SOCOTEC Deutschland. By acquiring a majority stake in TRIGIS, SOCOTEC is expanding its service portfolio and creating additional synergies between the various divisions.
