Eight Advisory launches the CFO practice in the Benelux  

Eight Advisory, a leading independent consulting firm specialising in Transactions, Restructuring, and Transformation, proudly announces:
launch of a CFO practice in the Benelux, which will complement the existing offering of the Transformation, Private Equity Services and Restructuring practices, the appointment of Andreas Gemis as CFO Director.

Andreas Gemis is a finance professional with a solid background in economic sciences and extensive experience in CFO advisory services. Prior to joining Eight Advisory, Andreas held a distinguished career in both the industry as well as in consulting. He gained vast experience in management reporting, budgeting, operational analysis and operating model design while working at one of Belgian’s finest technology companies, namely Melexis. At KPMG this knowledge was expanded with accounting process (re-)designs, costing, inventory valuations, financial and operational planning and a focus on the technology and data part of Finance. Combining both the industry and consulting experience Andreas is able to translate complex problems into straightforward solutions that quickly bring value to all relevant stakeholders. Andreas holds a Master’s degree in Applied Economic Sciences from the Hasselt University. 

As Director of CFO Advisory Services at Eight Advisory Benelux, he is responsible for providing clients – mainly corporates and private equity funds/portfolio firms – with strategic financial advice and solutions such as accounting integrations, (management) reporting improvements, process design and organisational design. Next to these typical CFO Advisory services there will also be a focus on supporting CFO’s and their Finance organizations with detangling their technology stack and advising them on a way forward to bring clarity and insights to the business.
