The Eight Advisory team provided financial due diligence services to HQIB on its acquisition of Institut Virion-Serion GmbH Wuerzburg.
Harald Quandt Industriebeteiligungen GmbH (HQIB) has acquired all shares in Institut Virion-Serion GmbH Wuerzburg and its joint venture in China for an undisclosed amount.
Institut Virion-Serion GmbH Wuerzburg is a global provider of in vitro solutions for infectious diseases, offering raw materials (including antigens, plasma, antibodies) as well as diagnostic products (including immunoassay tests and automated analyzers). Over 400 customers, predominantly laboratories and research institutes, use the Group’s products in more than 100 countries worldwide. The parties agreed not to disclose financial details of the transaction.
