Eight Advisory supports Evolem in the sale of Sodikart to Siparex and Unexo
Eight Advisory is advising investment fund Evolem on the sale of French karting specialist Sodikart to management companies Siparex and Unexo. Evolem acquired a stake in Sodikart in 2008 and took a majority stake in 2013.
With this transaction, the Siparex Group will become the majority shareholder of Sodikart, a Nantes-based company internationally renowned for its expertise and innovation in karting. This transaction will allow Sodikart to continue its growth, in particular through a rapid transition to electrification of its karts. The company also plans to develop smaller indoor tracks adapted to urban environments and is looking into the possibility of setting up in shopping malls, places where the use of internal combustion engines was previously unthinkable.
