Eight Advisory carried out the financial and tax buy-side due diligences, as well as the tax structuring, on behalf of PAI in the context of its acquisition of La Compagnie des Desserts
PAI Partners, one of Europe's leading private equity investors, has announced the acquisition of La Compagnie des Desserts, Europe's leading producer of frozen pastries and ice cream.
Founded in 1987, La Compagnie des Desserts has become an iconic company in the French food industry, with a presence in over 50 countries worldwide. The company offers a wide range of high-quality products, made with carefully selected ingredients and manufactured in its 3 production sites in France.
This acquisition marks an important step for PAI in strengthening its portfolio of prestigious brands in the food industry. La Compagnie des Desserts perfectly complements PAI’s existing activities in this sector and offers significant growth opportunities for the future.
The team in charge of the financial due diligence was composed of Mathieu Morisot and Thibault Crochin.
The French and UK tax team consisted of respectively (i) Guillaume Rembry, Guillaume Exerjean and Bastien Martinez and (ii) Dean Lake, Caley Mogg and Tom Sykes.
