Financial DD to AAB on its acquisition of May Figures

AAB Group has announced a key acquisition to expand its R&D tax credit service, buying Hertfordshire accountancy and tax firm May Figures Ltd.

The St. Albans company is a professional consultancy firm subject to Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) regulation and a leading source of information on R&D tax credits. Since their establishment in 2013, May Figures have expanded throughout the UK, developing a solid reputation.

May Figures Ltd will continue to do business in their own name and will immediately join the AAB Group.

Following an investment from August Equity a year ago, the AAB Group has been developing strong regional hubs around the UK and Ireland, partnering with companies that share its values and ethos. AAB has taken another big step toward establishing its image as a diverse business essential services company committed to assisting clients in achieving their objectives by purchasing May Figures Ltd for an undisclosed price.

Over 650 individuals are employed by AAB Group at 10 different sites in the UK and Ireland.
