Roberto has been a Partner in Valuation Services at New Deal Advisors / Eight Advisory Italy since 2019.

He began his career more than 35 years ago and is Full Professor of Financial Intermediation and Markets at the University of Milan.

From 2016 to 2021, he served as Councilor for Budget and Public Property for the City of Milan. He currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors and President of the ESG Committee and Territorial Relations Committee at A2A S.p.A..

Roberto has extensive experience in fairness opinions, valuations, and advisory services for both listed and non-listed companies, acting as an independent expert in support of Boards of Directors.

He also serves as a technical consultant and expert witness in civil, antitrust, criminal, and corporate proceedings. In addition, he has been involved in the management of enforcement proceedings, the insurance sector, and special administrations appointed by the Government.

A native Italian speaker, Roberto is also fluent in English.
