Eight Advisory and Eight Advisory Avocats provided buy-side financial and tax due diligence services to Epsa, as part of its acquisition of 100% of international activities of FI Group, the Spanish consultancy specializing in innovation funding.
Epsa, a French consulting firm backed by Towerbrook, Raise Investissement and Capza Expansion, has reached an agreement to acquire 100% of FI Group international activities. This follows acompetitive process into which several private equity firms were involved.
FI Group was founded 24 years ago in Barcelona. It is an international consulting firm specialized in innovation management and financing, such as public grants and R&D tax incentives. The company has 34 offices in 13 countries worldwide and employs around 1,400 people.
Headquartered in Paris, Epsa is a European company specialising in performance improvement in areas such as administrative process optimisation, procurement management, tax and strategy. With 3,200 employees, the group is now present in 40 countries worldwide, and has grown since 2018 mainly through an external growth strategy.
