The Eight Advisory team conducted the Financial, Tax and Operational & IT Due Diligence together with providing Tax Structuring advice for L Catterton’s acquisition of a significant minority shareholding in Little Moons.
Little Moons is a family-run ice-cream company and a premium dessert brand that has a passionate customer following. The company makes bite sized balls of Mochi ice-cream which it sells both to restaurants and supermarkets.
Little Moons was founded in 2010 by siblings Vivien and Howard Wong and is headquartered in the UK. The company has a significant and growing international presence and counts many of the leading supermarkets and distributors in the UK, Germany, and France as customers.
The acquisition of the shareholding in Little Moons will help strengthen and cement L Catterton’s position as the leading global consumer focused private equity firm.
