Financial & tax BDD, and tax structuring of EU Business school for Omnes Education

Eight Advisory and Eight Advisory Tax conducted the financial and tax due diligences, as well as the tax structuring for Omnes Education in the context of its acquisition of EU Business School.
Founded in 1975, OMNES Education is a private multidisciplinary higher education and research group specializing in management, engineering sciences, political science, communication and creation.
OMNES Education trains 32,000 students and 2,000 executives each year. The Group is headquartered in Paris, France, and has campuses in Paris, Lyon, Bordeaux, Chambéry, Beaune, Lausanne, London, Geneva, Monaco, San Francisco and Abidjan.
Founded in 1973, the EU Business School (EU) is a top-ranking private international business school with campuses in Barcelona, Geneva and Montreux, and Munich. EU students benefit from an international environment with students and faculty of more than 100 nationalities and an alumni network of more than 27,000 members.
This transaction will allow the OMNES Education Group to strengthen its position as a leading European player in Spain, Switzerland and Germany.
The Eight Advisory team in charge of the financial due diligence was composed of Gennat Mouline and Nicolai Preussner.
The Eight Advisory Tax team performed the tax due diligence and tax structuring in Switzerland, France, Spain and Germany. The tax assistance in France and Germany was led by Guillaume Rembry, Baptiste Gachet, Manuel Wall and Adrian Mayer. In Switzerland and Spain, Eight Advisory Tax worked respectively with Bär & Karrer (Susanne Schreiber – Martin Leu) and Garrigues (Rafael Calvo – Juan Camilo Sanchez).
