Financial and tax BDD of CVE Biogaz for SWEN Capital Partners

Eight Advisory and Eight Advisory Avocats conducted the financial and tax due diligence of CVE Biogaz on behalf of SWEN Capital Partners.

Founded in 2009, CVE is a French independent producer of renewable energy, multi-country and multi-energy. The Group is based in France and active in Chile, USA and is expanding in Africa. The Group employs nearly 240 people.

SWEN Capital Partners is a European asset management company, a reference player specialized in non-listed responsible investment, with experience in the field of methanization.

This fundraising will be mainly used to finance growth of CVE Biogaz, an activity that was separated from the company as part of this operation. By 2030, CVE’s ambition is to become the leading independent player in renewable gas in France based on a territorial methanization model, and to hold a 10% share of the biogas market in France.

The Eight Advisory team was composed of Sébastien Smercan and Emir Montacer.
