Eight Advisory carried out the buy-side financial due diligence for Felix Capital for its investment in the

French company Effy

Founded in 2008 by Frédéric Utzmann, Effy is a leading player in the energy renovation of private housing. Effy manages the entire process from start to finish via a platform: energy audit, connections to craftsmen, monitoring and quality control, receipt and deduction of state aid, etc.

The company is now receiving its first round of funding from Felix Capital, a London-based venture capital firm.

Effy has 3,600 affiliated craftsmen and completes 100,000 energy renovation projects per year in France. The company currently has 300 employees.

The company now plans to invest further in its brand and tech platform. Eventually, it plans to expand abroad.
