Financial and IT DD of PPG’s activities in 5 African countries for Océinde

Eight Advisory assisted Océinde in carrying out the financial and IT due diligence for its acquisition of PPG's activities in Senegal, Cameroon, Gabon, Ivory Coast and Algeria.
Océinde is an industrial group from Reunion Island, a historical player, which operates in the fields of building chemistry, seafood, telecoms and media and energy efficiency.
PPG Industries is a chemical company specializing in building materials, including paints, chlorine, sodium hydroxide, vinyl chloride and glass.
This acquisition will allow the Océinde group to continue to develop and strengthen their activities in Africa, with a new division, under the name Mauvilac Industries Africa, with the deployment of new plants and 250 employees. The Océinde group is now developing its architectural paints and coatings activities in three geographical areas: Reunion Island and the Indian Ocean, mainland France and Europe, and Africa.
The team in charge of the financial due diligence was composed of Sébastien Smercan, François Thoumie and Thibault Delecourt.
The team in charge of the IT due diligence and preparation to Day1 was composed of Jean-Christophe Fuzzati and Bechir Aissi.
