We are looking for ambitious and diligent Analysts to join our newly built Transaction Services / Restructuring Services team based in Amsterdam.
The team executes Financial/business plan reviews, independent business reviews (IBR), refinancing/amendments, disposals, operational/financial restructuring advice and short term cashflow management.
As an Analyst in the Transaction Services & Restructuring Services team, you will work with experts in the field of restructuring and transaction services and will mainly focus on:
Operational and financial reviews/due diligence when the assignment concerns an acquisition or disposal in a distressed situation and restructuring advice when it concerns corporate restructuring in either a crisis or non-crisis situation;
You identify and understand the key business drivers and provide value to the client through our services and the deliverables we produce;
You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of engagements and act as the main point of contact for clients in this process;
You will manage the preparation of deliverables including reports, presentations and discussions with the different stakeholders;
Steer and provide guidance to junior team members;
Take an active role in setting up the new Amsterdam office and ensure that the offices becomes an integral part of the broader Eight Advisory network;
Active contribution to business and network development (both internal and external) and thought leadership is expected and encouraged.
We expect our future Analysts to have:
A Master’s degree in economics, commercial engineering, business administration or business economics;
Financial and analytical skills are considered as a prerequisite as well as giving meaning to the numbers and translate these into a well-structured report;
Ability to identify key operational performance drivers, cash flow forecasting, and flexibility to support clients with a broad array of issues;
Creating, analyzing and updating 13-week cash flow models and other financial models;
Relevant professional experience in financial due diligence, transaction services, corporate analysis, management consulting or restructuring services within a Big4 organization or comparable setting;
Fluent with Excel and PowerPoint to create client deliverables;
