We are offering a unique opportunity to become a part of the founding team of Eight Advisory Netherlands and are looking for ambitious and diligent Consultants to plan, execute and deliver Strategic Valuations & Modeling engagements in the context of a transaction (M&A, divestiture, joint-venture, etc.), financial reporting purposes (e.g., goodwill impairment testing, purchase price allocation, etc.), tax purposes (legal reorganization of large corporates) or strategic purposes (e.g., decision-making, capital efficiency, capital allocation, etc.).
As a Senior Consultant in the Valuation Services team you will work with experts in the field of valuations, transformation, restructurings and transaction services, but will mainly focus on:
Performing and reviewing complex valuation models;
Identifying and understanding the key business drivers and provide value to the client through our services and the deliverables we produce;
Managing the preparation of deliverables including reports, presentations and discussions with the different stakeholders; and
Steering and providing guidance to more junior team members.
We expect our future Analyst to have:
Master’s degree (Business) Economics or Econometrics from a recognized university or business school
Financial analytical skills and good accounting knowledge are considered as a prerequisite as well as giving meaning to the numbers and translate this into a well-structured report;
Between two to four year’s relevant professional experience in valuations, corporate finance investment banking or corporate development/strategy;
Entrepreneurial and looking forward to being exposed to challenging tasks;
Fluent with Excel and PowerPoint;
Prior experience in developing and managing more junior professionals is preferred;
Clear opinions that you gladly share with others;
You like solving new issues in a practical and creative manner;
Excellent communication skills and the ability to be a great team player;
Advising skills and you know how to inspire and retain clients;
A strong knowledge of Dutch and English;
Eager to work on cross border assignments with potential frequent travel to Belgium, London and Paris.
