Eight Advisory is continuing to integrate its portfolio of services with the establishment of a new “Data and Digital” team. In an ever more complex world where data is omnipresent and going digital is imperative, this new section will assist Eight Advisory’s clients in transactions and operations while accelerating the transformation of our traditional services.

Eight Advisory Paris is pleased to welcome Frédéric Blache (37) as partner. Frédéric will take charge of structuring the new division around a multi-disciplinary team. Frédéric began his career 15 years ago in China, in the operations finance division of a major French industrial company. He subsequently joined a Big 4 firm where he built up substantial experience in financial advisory roles (performance management, automation, transaction services, takeovers etc.) for entities of all sizes in over 25 countries. With a passion for data and the new insights that come from its analysis, Frédéric began using new data technology seven years ago. As an Analytics Translator[1], Frédéric uses his deep knowledge of technology and his ability to understand complexity and combine different skills to serve the strategic, operational and financial objectives of clients. With Eight Advisory, he will head a broad team of experienced professionals who combine expertise in their roles with technological skills, as well as technical specialists.

The team’s objectives will be:

  • Use the best available technology (data analysis, visualization, automation) to serve the transformation projects of clients. The most common areas are performance management and business forecasting, creating a basis for objective decision-making, applying a strategic vision and adjusting it based on key parameters, and securing the stability of operations.
  • Perform “data due diligence” work alongside the Transaction Services team, providing insight to potential buyers on their ability to manage a planned acquisition.
  • Accelerate innovation and the use of new technologies in traditional fields, treating technology not as an end in itself but as a means that can help us continuously improve our responses to clients’ needs.

In the words of Éric Demuyt, Managing Director of Eight Advisory, “The acceleration of our development in these highly relevant areas is a demonstration of Eight Advisory’s ability to attract the very best talent and enhance an increasingly integrated portfolio of services. Bringing in these highly sophisticated skills will enable Eight Advisory to provide an even broader scope of assistance to our clients in every phase of their development.”
