Assistance of Bouygues Telecom in structuring a financing with Vauban Infrastructure

Bouygues Telecom and Vauban Infrastructure Partners, through its digital platform Vauban Infra Fibre (“VIF”), are consolidating their collaboration under a new strategic agreement. The aim of this agreement is to accelerate the deployment of optical fiber in France in medium-density areas (AMII/AMEL) and low-density areas (RIP). This operation will make it possible to finance new access to approximately 20 million outlets by 2027, including 4 million in medium-density areas and 16 million in low-density areas.

Founded in 1996, Bouygues Telecom is a global communications operator and one of the major players in telecoms today. It has 26 million customers and more than 500 stores. Recognized for the excellence of its broadband network, which now covers 99% of the population, and its ultra-high-speed network currently being deployed.

Vauban Infrastructure Partners is a leading infrastructure asset management company. Its team consists of 57 professionals based in Paris and Luxembourg. Vauban IP is a company dedicated to sustainable equity investments, managing €6.5 billion mainly in 5 core infrastructure funds on behalf of more than 70 investors in 15 different countries; and has invested in more than 65 assets in the mobility, energy services and social and digital infrastructure sectors in 11 different countries.

Vauban Infra Fibre is a shared infrastructure platform, created by Vauban Infrastructure Partners and Axione, which aims to accelerate the digitalization of French territories.
